 About our Certified Groomer:

     I, Rebecca, have always had a passion for animals, especially dogs, since childhood.  I worked through college as a dog bather/rough groomer at several busy salons in FL.  I attended an elite show grooming school in 1998 and graduated from the Academy of Animal Arts in 1999.  I  have been professionally grooming dogs for 12 years.  I strongly believe that Grooming is an art and shouldn't be rushed. Dogs have emotions just like we do, so they deserve to be treated that way.  In the past I groomed for an animal hospital for 2 yrs. This is where I learned much about dog health issues, illnesses, and diseases.  I volunteered as a vet tech in my spare time, and decided that I wanted to stick to grooming!  I opened Groomingdales Pet Salon & Kennel in 2001 in Tifton, GA.  I was crushed when I had no choice but to sell my business when moving to Cumming for my husband's job.  Together Brian and I are the proud owners of Paw Perfect Pet Salon, Inc. where I enjoy grooming 6 days a week.  Brian offers customized dog training as well in your home.  We offer zoom groom services for owners who don't want to leave their dogs all day too.  I also discourage people from sedating their "difficult dogs" who have needed to be sedated in the past.  I simply have a way with dogs, and the drugs make it difficult for me to make that special connection with your pet.  I look forward to meeting you and your dog in the near future.

Pricing varies according to breed, size, coat condition, and style.

A Partial Groom Includes:

• If you require your pet’s anal glands be expressed, you must request this service at the time of your groom.  Not all dogs should have them done and some have had a procedure to have them removed.

Show Grooming:

Even though you may not actively show your dog, you may still keep him in a show or full coat just because he is so beautiful.  Our groomer is capable of maintaining and grooming your dog in a show pattern.  Show coats require much maintenence.  We will help you keep the coat's beauty and luster with special brushes, shampoos, conditioner, and more.  Please contact Rebecca for more details on this topic.
